Semi-Dry Mead

Our Semi-Dry Mead is a sweet, honey rich white wine with notes similar to a Gewurztraminer or sweeter Rieslings.

Made from raw Indiana wildflower blossom honey, this wine possesses a bright straw yellow color. 

The characteristic sweet-spice aroma is indicative of the medium bodied honey we use.  The flavor is plesantly sweet, yet well balanced, opening with a clove/mace spice component, followed by nice minerality, ending with a pleasant honey finish. 

The additional honey used in this variety provides a rich, full body and lingering sweetness that makes for a very enjoyable mead.

Pair this with spicy cuisine, such as Thai, Indian or Ethiopian.  Also compliments sausages with sauerkraut, as well as rich cheeses.
